The feelings you have are valid. Many of the people we work with have learned to feel ashamed of their emotions or see them as a weakness, especially when those emotions feel intense or hard to manage. We believe the ability to feel deeply is a strength, not a flaw. With the right support, emotions can become a source of insight rather than something that takes over.

At our practice, we focus on understanding the roots of your emotional responses—not just within you, but within the relationships and roles that shape your life. Our families, partners, children, and communities all influence how we cope, communicate, and respond under stress. When these patterns go unexamined, change can feel short-lived or lead to more conflict instead of relief.

 

Our therapists work from a shared, holistic and trauma-informed perspective. We believe meaningful change starts with learning how to listen to your emotions through both your thoughts and your body, so you can regulate and feel grounded before trying to make changes.

You've been struggling for awhile. It's time for some relief. 

Anxiety

You feel overwhelmed and stressed all the time. It feels like your brain never shuts off.  Your emotions are a constant weight threatening to unravel you at any moment. You want everything to stop so you can catch up. Together we'll process these feelings and find relief from the constant nagging in your mind. 

People Pleasing

The idea of conflict with others is more overwhelming than the problem itself. You feel like your needs and want aren't considered by other people. One day you finally let it all out and say how you're feeling but you don't feel heard or like anything changes. We look at how these patterns developed and changes to make to find how you can feel more heard. 

Couple's Therapy

You feel like you and your partner only ever fight. No fights ever come to a conclusion. You're even past the point of fighting and feel completed disconnected. Together we'll work through the best path of change for the relationship and learn to proceed forward.

Depression

You feel so burnt out and tired all the time. There's so many things you want to get done but can't find the energy for it. Your sleep is sporadic if at all or it's all you ever want to do. You want to set goals and feel accomplished, but that seems impossible. Together, we'll find ways out of the slump and break the patterns that got you there. 

Trauma

You feel constantly on edge and unable to relax. You know something happened in your life that shouldn't, maybe you don't even know what that is. Together we will turn towards the intolerable events in your life and learn to heal and move past them. 

Perfectionism

You constantly don't feel good enough or that you can't make a mistake. You are burning the candle at both ends trying to keep up with everything but you're so afraid that you're going to fail. Together we'll find the mechanism driving your perfectionism and find how you can find your calm and peace.

Child Therapy

You feel worried about your child and the feelings they are having. They have had a lot of changes happen and you don't know how they feel about it or how to help them. They seem ok on the outside but there seems to be a lot troubling them on the inside. They are having behaviors that you have no idea how to handle. We provide a safe space for kids to feel validated and safe and create an environment for tackling these problems.
